Beekn Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old to create a Beekn account. Beekn’s Community features involve coordinating with strangers to exchange cards and, in some cases, money, off-platform — this is not appropriate for minors, and we do not offer a supervised or parent-linked account option at this time.

You’re responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@beekn.app if you believe your account has been compromised.

Beekn aggregates publicly available listing data from third-party marketplaces (including eBay, Goldin, Heritage Auctions, Fanatics, and Mercari) and notifies you when listings match keyword, price, grade, or other criteria you set. Beekn is not a marketplace. We do not list items for sale, do not process transactions, and are not a party to any purchase, sale, or exchange that occurs on a third-party marketplace or between users.

Your content. You retain ownership of the posts, photos, responses, and messages you submit to Beekn (“User Content”). By submitting User Content, you grant Beekn a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute it within the Service for the purpose of operating Beekn — for example, showing your bounty post to other users or your photo in an authenticity thread.

Unverified reports. Posts alleging that a card is counterfeit, that an item was stolen, or that a package was lost are user-submitted reports. Beekn does not independently verify these claims. You agree not to name or accuse a specific identifiable individual of a crime or wrongdoing in a post — describe what you observed (a listing pattern, a defect, a circumstance) rather than making an accusation against a named person. Beekn may remove content that violates this rule and may suspend accounts that repeatedly violate it.

No liability for User Content. Beekn does not endorse and is not responsible for the accuracy of any User Content, including community reports, authenticity opinions, or grading opinions shared by other users. Community opinions are not a substitute for professional authentication by PSA, BGS, SGC, or another recognized grading service, and you should not rely on them for a significant purchase decision.

Some posts include an optional finder’s fee or reward. These are arranged and paid directly between users, off-platform. Beekn does not process payments, hold funds in escrow, or mediate disputes about rewards. Any agreement about a reward, and any dispute arising from it, is solely between the users involved. Exercise the same caution you would with any transaction with a stranger.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or to harass, threaten, or defame another user
• Post false or misleading counterfeit/stolen reports, or knowingly make a false accusation against another user
• Attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with the Service’s security features
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or use automated means to access the Service beyond normal use
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
• Post content that infringes another party’s intellectual property rights

We may suspend or terminate your account for violating these Terms.

The Service contains links and listing data from third-party marketplaces we don’t control. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability, or practices of those third-party sites. Your use of any third-party marketplace is governed by that marketplace’s own terms.

The Beekn name, logo, and the Service itself (excluding User Content and third-party listing data) are the property of Red Tartan Ventures LLC. You may not use our branding without written permission.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that alerts will be delivered without delay or error, that listing data will be complete or accurate, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BEEKN AND RED TARTAN VENTURES LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING ANY TRANSACTION OR DISPUTE BETWEEN USERS, ANY RELIANCE ON COMMUNITY CONTENT OR AUTHENTICITY OPINIONS, OR ANY MISSED, DELAYED, OR INACCURATE ALERT. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS (WHICH, FOR MOST USERS, IS $0, AS THE SERVICE IS CURRENTLY FREE).

You agree to indemnify and hold Beekn and Red Tartan Ventures LLC harmless from any claim arising from your User Content, your violation of these Terms, or your interactions with other users, including any bounty or reward arrangement.

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms, or at our discretion with reasonable notice.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas, and you consent to that jurisdiction.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through a notice in the app before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
